1. About the Service

FastDL is a free web-based tool that allows users to save publicly accessible media (videos, photos, Reels, Stories, and Highlights) from Instagram to their own device by pasting a public post link. FastDL does not require an account, does not ask for your Instagram login credentials, and does not permanently store the media files you download.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use FastDL. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FastDL only for lawful purposes. When using the Service, you agree that you will NOT: (a) Download, copy, or redistribute content that you do not own or do not have explicit permission or a valid legal right to use; (b) Use downloaded content for commercial purposes without the original creator's consent; (c) Use the Service to infringe on any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or legal right of any third party; (d) Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to send excessive or bulk requests that could disrupt, overload, or degrade the Service; (e) Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, mirror, or interfere with FastDL infrastructure; (f) Use the Service for harassment, defamation, impersonation, fraud, or any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity.

We reserve the right to restrict, throttle, or block access to any user or IP address that we reasonably believe is violating these Terms.

4. Ownership and Responsibility for Downloaded Content

All media accessible through Instagram remains the property of its original creator or rights holder and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. FastDL is a neutral technical tool: it does not create, own, host, edit, or claim any rights over the content you access through it.

You, the user, are solely and fully responsible for: (a) Verifying that you have the right or permission to download and use any content before doing so; (b) How you subsequently use, store, share, or redistribute any downloaded content; (c) Complying with Instagram's own Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

FastDL strongly recommends only downloading content you have created yourself, content explicitly shared with you for reuse, or content that is otherwise clearly authorized for download by its owner.

5. Copyright Complaints (Notice and Takedown)

FastDL respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content accessible via a link processed through our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@fastdl.io with: (1) A description of the copyrighted work; (2) The specific Instagram URL(s); (3) Your contact information; (4) A good-faith statement of unauthorized use; (5) A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

6. No Permanent Storage of Media

FastDL does not permanently store, archive, or host downloaded media files on its servers, nor do we maintain a library or database of user-downloaded content. Temporary technical buffering or streaming transmission may occur solely as necessary to facilitate real-time retrieval from Instagram's content delivery servers to your device upon request.

7. No Affiliation with Instagram or Meta

FastDL is an independent, third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or accuracy. We do not guarantee continuous uptime, permanent availability of specific content, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FastDL and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, any content accessed through the Service, unauthorized access to data, or any third-party conduct.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for damages or losses that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FastDL, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of any content obtained through the Service.
